Personality:

Tina is somewhat stunted in her emotional development, likely as a result of having to grow up on her own after she and her parents were sold to Hyperion for horrible experiments and she escaped. This reflects itself in her childlike way she behaves adopting various voices and playing games or hosting tea parties. This coping mechanism has been warped somewhat by the bloody and violent nature of Pandora so she barely bats an eyelash at gore, violence and adult content. What she really has a problem with is confronting her feelings of loss when it comes to loved ones. She doesn't talk about her parents though she went out of her way to get the Vault Hunters to bring her the man responsible for them being sold to Hyperion so she could torture them to death.

She also didn't deal well with the death of her friend and substitute father figure Roland. She was in complete denial of it going so far as to create an elaborate fantasy story structured around a table top roleplaying game so she could pretend he wasn't dead and ignore the fact that they were planning on holding a funeral for him. Eventually with the help of that game and the Vault Hunters she was able to face the truth and accept that while the people we love may be taken away from us, they'll always be a apart of us so long as we remember them.

She's decidedly capable at surviving apparently as she was able to not only find a home for herself in Tundra Express. Either she built it in a cave under a mountain or she stole it from the previous owner...likely by force but one thing is clear. Her ability to build dangerous explosives and other implements or torture has allowed her to live by herself despite the threat of Bandits, Hyperion Agents and the local wildlife all of which have no qualms about killing kids. She does tend to call upon her friends for help though perhaps recognizing that explosions can only get her so far. She like many of the residents of Pandora would rather call upon the mythical vault hunters to do things for her then do all the leg work herself. Mostly because it's fun to watch.
